  Note that her age in October 1938 was reported here as 18, making her birth in about 1920.  But in the April 1930 census, she was reported as just 7 years old, making her birth year maybe 1924 or 1922.  The 1940 census puts us back on tracK with an age consistent with birth in about 1923.  So it appears she lied to get her marriage license.
