• There is conflicting information about the wife of William Butler, Some sources report her name as Mildred Lewis.  There is little documentation in family genealogies.
  
  One source for a Mildred Lewis married to a William Butler reports them in the wrong counties.  This name for Isaac's mother appears to be from the too-common simple association of first names without regard to any other details, or perhaps as well, lack of further details at the time.  William Butler is too common a name.
