Notes
- Sources differ on the birth date for Nancy Graves. The Porter genealogy reports alternate dates of 1834 and 1837. From the 1870 census, it appears that Nancy had two sons, Benjamin Franklin Harman and Edward Harman. These two sons are listed in the household of Edward and Mary Harman in 1870, in Milam County, Texas. The ages would put their births before the death of Nancy in about 1857-8. It appears Nancy died about 1858 while the family was living in Bell County, Texas. See further details in the Notes for Edward Harman (Sr).
