  • I started my genealogy of the Gregorys and Greens with the extensivefamily information Loretta had gathered for the Gregorys and Greensand related famlies.  Much of my early material I got in the from ofnotes I took from conversations, with Loretta, my aunt, in 1980-81 andlater years.

    William H H Gregory is reported as the first child of Patrick Gregoryand wife Julia A C, in the 1880 census of Jefferson County, Tennessee. This name matches the full name known by the descendants of Dock andJulia Ann, William Henry Harrison.  In that census, W H H is 1 monthold, meaning he was born in the month of May 1880.  This also matchesthe family's date of 11 May 1880.

    The family was living in Jefferson County, Tennessee, at the time ofWilliam's birth. They later moved to McKinney, Texas, then on toChickasaw Nation.
