Notes

I have noticed that the Briscoe genealogies do not have a wife for Thomas. In the 1850 census, Thomas is living with other Briscoes, and his wife and children are listed. She is younger than he is, and judging by the age of the oldest child, he was about 29 or 30 when they were married. Perhaps he was married earlier and his wife died, or perhaps he waited late to marry.
