By 1910, Sam has been married to Rena Buckley for 11 years.  Note that her middle initial here is L But according to family, her full name is Nancy Lurena.  Rena would appear to be a nickname for Rena.  But on her death certificate in 1970, her son Glen reported her name as Nancy Rena Holt

Sam is on a whole page of lodgers in several boarding houses on this page.  Note that he is reported as Married, but no wife is with him.  At Sam's death just 3 months later, he is reported as widowed.  Also I found that Ancestry inexplicably reports his birth place as Puerto Rico!  There is no one on this whole page who is reported as born in Puerto Rico!  Sam's record actually says only United States.
