I have not tried to reconstruct the whole Hamrick line, but I suspect that Cassy is a granddaughter, and perhaps Bury likewise a grandson. Cassy later married David O Green.

In 1870, I found what appears to be the right Reuben (Reubin) Hamrick, at age 84. But there is no wife in the home. Where is Hannah? Family information and here gravestone indicate she did not die until 1875.

Reuben has two gravestones, both flat stones. The newer stone states that he was a charter member of the Boiling Springs Baptist Church. The date of death on his gravestones is 26 October 1873.
