- "Gentry West tells me John A, son of R A West and Mary Cox, died a young boy and is buried in Lone Tree Cemetery near Stuttgartt, AR. We have no information on H, the 4 year old son."

According to the 1910 census, Asberry and his second wife Susan Burke had been married 32 years, meaning marriage about 1778. Thus H West, reported in 1880 as 4 years old, was the son of Mary Cox.
