    Obituary of Emma Zetta Barbee Dixon
    Mrs. Frank Dixon.

    Emma Zetta Barbee was born in Sullivan County, MO. March 1, 1869 anddeparted this life June 1, 1949, at the Perkins hospital, Spearville,at the age of 80 years and 3 months..

    She was united in marriage June 21, 1885, to Frank M. Dixon ofSullivan, County, MO. To this union ten children were born. Herhusband and three children, Edith Bell, Alice Evelyn, who became Mrs.Kenneth Burnett, and Clarence Seth, preceded her in death. She wasbaptized and became a member of the Christian church of Kinsley, Oct.1, 1920. In the fall of 1886, they moved to Hodgeman County, Ks.,where they lived the most of their lilves, except for a short stay inGunnison, Colo. and Kinsley, Ks. .

    She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. Herman Westphal and Mrs. LouReed of Kinsley; Mrs. Carl Whitney of Kenniwick, Washington; Mrs. LeeBurleson of Port Orchard, Wash. and Mrs. Harold Smith of Deerfield;two sons, Guy and Rol of Kinsley; four sisters, one brother, 22grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews anda host of friends..

    Pall bearers were two grandsons, Paul Reed and Gerald Dixon and fournephews, Curt, Laurence, Edward and Paul Dixon..
