  The birth date reproteed for Charlie in this record is before the date of the 1910 census, but he was not reported in that census.  He is reported as age 10 in 1920, but the date of that census was 1 January, so that coldnot be correct, either, unless he was born in 1909, and cold have had his 10th birthday before 1 January 1920.  But they were not too careful about ages, just giving a guess or rounding up a lot.  Ages, dates and numbers were not the precison bits of data the later informati age came to have in mind.
