I found the birth date of 4 May 1881 reported above for Mary on a grave for Bertha Green in the Clear Springs Cemetery, where several of this Green family are buried in Hillsboro, Illinois. You will note that Bill reported Bertha died as an infant. I wonder if it was the other way around. The date also is too late for the one born in 1893 to be Rebecca's child. She woudl be the daughter of Andrew'ssecond wife Laura Montgomery. Laura was the widow of Andrew's brother Joseph Martin, and they married after both their spouses died in 1884.
