In the 1910 census there is no daughter named Dacas. But there is a daughter named Dacas E. The initial E could be for Ethel. The birth date reported in 1900 for Dacas is October 1888, while an early family genealogy, World Family Tree Vol. 14, Pedigree #2932, adds the day, reporting Ethel born 29 October 1888.
It seems then that Dacas E and Ethel M are the same child. The 1910 census reports her as Ethel M. The only attestation I have seen of the middle initial M is in her husband's WWI draft registratoin, where she is nakmed as Ethelmae Wright. In her later Delayed Birth Certificate it is clarified that her first name was Doras. No other name with a M is given. She is Dorcas Ethel Strange Wright.
