    Three different dates of death are reported by sources for Elsie.  Aswe see above, her Massachusetts death record (transcription) reportsthe date as 28 May 1904.  A printed memorial posted on a Find-a-Gravememorial reports it as 29 May 1904.  The date of death on her grave isMay 31, 1904.  The latter is likely the date of burial, which couldhave gotten engraved in error in place of the death date.  Boston isin both Suffolk and Middlesex counties. It is uncertain which sectionof Boston she died in, presumably in a hospital.

    Poetic Inscriptoin:
    "One precious to our hearts has gone,
    The voice we loved is stilled.
    The place made vacant in our home
    Can never be filled.
    Our father in His wisdom called
    The Boon His love has given;
    And though on earth the body lies,
    The soul is safe in Heaven.

    The actual death certificate confirms that the Ancestry basictranscription is correct on the date.
