    In 1941, Estelle was enumerated in the census at age 8.  She is in thehousehold headed by her widowed mother, with her little brotherWilliam A Jackson.  Their mother Mabel has the last name of Hoskin andis Divorced.  Since William is 5 years old, this would mean that Mabeldivorced William a Jackson in about 1935 or so.  Then Mabel married aHoskin, but they also divorced before this 1940 census.

    Estelle was mentioned in her grandfather's obituary in 1954.  It isstrange that her brother was not mentioned also as a survivor.  Thegranddaughter Sharon Lee Jackson is possibly a daughter of Alvin forwhom we do not have documentation.
