- Three or four genealogies have John's name as John D Kinard. None of them have any documentation. It looks like they just copied each other.
But his grave, with an inscripoitn linking him to his parents R L and N E Kinard, has his name as John W Kinard. John's middle name is likley Wesley, like his father's brother John Wesley Kinard.
