• The birth registration book for the district reports that Sarah was born inthe first quarter of 1856, but no individual borth dates aer included on these records.

  Registration of birth:  Leighton Buzzard District, Bedfordshire County
  
  But a later census for 1871 reports her actual birth location was Soulby, in Buckinghamshire.  Current maps locate Soulby in the county of Cumbria.

  Some references indicate Soulby is in Bedfordshire while others say Buckinghamshire.  Another authority places Soulby in County Cumbria.  This is probably due to changes inadministrative bousndaries or names at times.
