Notes

  • ----------------------
I'm glad to hear from You Orville, my line goes like this, My father was Jack Osborne McSwain, he died in Pembroke Pines, Florida, his father was William Boyd McSwain, who was married to Bonnie Mitchell, had 3 boys, she died and he remarried Mary Kiser, they had 2 girls.

Next comes Osborne Benjamin McSwain, he was married to Amanda Childers, they were from down about Cherokee county S.C., Osborne's father was Thomas Asbury McSwain, mother Alice (Aly Ann) Carpenter, then comes Charles McSwain who was married to Luraner Washburn McSwain, he and she had abt. 16 children together, she died, I should have her death date somewhere in my records, probably in the 1840s, he then married my g.g.g.grandmother Sarah L. Throckmorton.

Charles's father was David McSwain, I think his mother was Catherine Robertson.
