Notes

• Another Green researcher, Cindy Pannell, reports the date of death, missing from the first photo of the stone we had access to.  However on a later photo,  the angle of the photo reveals the date of death, 7 December 1892.

  Though Emma died young, her sister Minnie Lee named a daughter Emma Augusta, which seems to indicate this was her sister Emma's full name.

  The portion with the death date is missing from the photo.  The stone is out of its mounting and standing behind the mount, which covers the death date in this photo.  The other photo on the Find a Grave memorial, which was accesed later, shows the complete stone with the death date of Dec 7, 1892, as reported on the memorial.

  "I did learn an interesting fact about the Greens in the Lakeview Cemetery in Marietta. The Greens were moved there from a family cemetery located south of Marietta at some point. The Love County historian was invited to our Chickasaw family reunion & we were discussing families in Love County. The Greens came up & she told me about an article in the Marietta Monitor that told about the cemetery."
