"To share a thankful note: A photo of the gravestone of Mary McEntire Green McAfee was rescued from a NC flooding house basement.  A photo was sent to me in a gesture of very great kindness as the individual had read my pleas for ever so long.  The photo shows the old gravestone of Mary laying atop a wooden bar-be-que table. It is very thin and delicately designed. I so hope that we may find the other family grave stones missing from the Bostic Brick Yard. ... I tend to think that the old brick yard MAY have been the old McAfee plantation. Such seems logical to one's thought."
