- I found a fairly extensive Terry genealogy that includes several photos and records, reporting Hugh Chester terry as the son of James Hugh Chester Terry (1899 - 1971) and Jessie Opal Cunningham (1904 - 1968). The genealogy includes a photo that has both Hugh (Chester) and Chess ( James Hugh).
