Joseph Hampton Gregory was born on a farm near Tilton Ky in 1861 and died in the same area, on his own farm, known as Sunnyview, just south of Tilton in 1924. He was a son of Nathaniel Gregory and Sarah Tribby, and brother to Jefferson P Gregory. He married Lina S. Ham(m) Nov 13 1888 and they produced three children, Irene 1892-1928, Eva Lee 1895-1984 and Nathan Thomas 1903-1972.
