Not many details are available for Peierre (Peter) Pinot. I found his marriage record. Note how the English-speaking records clerk recorded Pierre's French family name, faithfully reflecting the French pronunciation of the name spelled in French as Pinot.

Next door to Pierre and his family is one J L Brinsback, who appears to be Ameila's brother. Also on the same page in Louis Dumont, who is also in this genealogy, in our primary lineage of Dumond.
I received a message enquiring about the parentage of Pierre Pinyot. I had not by that time in 2018 found anything on his parents or lineage.
"I found a data about the Pinot family on your site. My question is to know if there is any relationship between Martial Pinot de la Grillère (Limoges, 1/9/1709-?) and Pierre Pinot (born in Arkansas, USA ca 1800). I have found that Martial Pinot left France in 1731 to go live in Saint Louis."
-- Joan Pinyot i Garròs, Geneanet Messaging to orville Boyd Jenkins, 15 July 2018
We have not found enough data to connect Pierre to the older Pinot lineage. His parents have not been determined. Insufficient information was found about the progeny of Martial Pinot de la Grillère.
