DEATH OF DR W W GREGORY
Dr W W Gregory died at 7 o'clock this morning at the residence of his son, Mr W H H Gregory, near this place, aged about 77 years. Dr Gregory was a native of Virginia, was once owner of Drury's Bluff property, and in former years was possessed of a handsome estate. A number of years before the war he moved to Charlotte where he quickly established a widespread reputation in the practice of medicine. He was the discoverer and preparer of "Gregory's Anti-Dyspeptic Mixture" a remedy of merit and reputation. A year or two ago he sold his property in Charlotte and moved his family to Hendersonville. He himself had been here for about six weeks, and during most of that time had been confined to bed. Dr Gregory's remains will be buried here tomorrow.
