• "Rev Thomas Quaid passed away January 20, at the home  of his daughter, Mts J O Skillern of Milburn.  Surviving are his wife and eight children, L H Quaid, Achilee; T D D Quaid, of Phillips University, Enid;  S W Quaid, Tishomingo; J W Quaid, Sasakwa;  Mrs W Z Newgent, Milburn; Mrs W E Jarnigin, Hugo;  Mrs W D Rhea, Milburn, and Mrs J O Skillern, Milburn."

  In 1896, her son Thomas applied for citizenship in the Choctaw Natoin, along with several of his children.  This application was rejected.  No blood quantum for either Emily or her chidlrfen or Thomas' children was known.  Ages reported on this card appear to be at 1901, not the original registration of 1896.
