Jewel Oleta Green, 96 of Amarillo passed away September 30, 2015. Memorial services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Griggs-Schooler-Gordon Funeral Home Pioneer Chapel with Reverend Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Griggs Schooler Gordon Funeral Directors.

On September 30, 2015 Jewel Oleta Green, 96, left the arms of her loving family and is resting in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She has been a resident of Bivens Memorial Nursing Home of Amarillo since 2008, previously living in Friona, Pampa and Muleshoe, Patterson, California and Satanta, Kansas.

Jewel was preceded in death by her parents; Daniel and Mary. E. Wells; husband, George E. Green; a son Donald C. Green and seven siblings.

Jewel is survived by her daughters, Gwen Greeson, Rita Goettsche and husband Mark; five grandsons, Donald Glen Green, Jackie Caswell, Todd Greeson, Marc Greeson and Marte Christian; a granddaughter, Holle Martin; seventeen great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
