Notes

  • In all the censuses of Claude's family the enumerator reports everyone as White.  All previous censuses and Indian registrations show Robert and his family registered with their mother first as Choctaw, then as Chickasaw.  (Robert's grandmother Fannie Colbert was 1/4 Choctaw and 1/4 Chickasaw.)

This Green-Thompson and related name lines from Fannie Colbert generally merged into the general populace, reporting themselves as White, rather than Indian of any tribe.  The importance of these listings also became less important as the generations progressed.  Many moved west to various locations.
