For some reason Walter G Mcswain is reported last rather than in the birth and age order as usual.  Walter here is also reported as the same age as Edward, whereas in 1860 he was 5, 2 years older than Edward at 3.  David Holden, reporting apparently from family sources, says Walter was born a year before Edward, in December 1856, with Edward born in November 1857!

In the 1880 census, Mary is reported as Married, but there is no husband in the home.
