    -----------------------
    CYRIL EYNON
Cyril O. Eynon of Fairfax, longtime Musicians Union business representative, died yesterday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 71. Eynon was born in Salt Lake City, where he began a musical career, playing the saxophone with Red Nichols and His Five Pennies.

For many years he played in San Francisco at the Curran Theater and at such events as the Ice Follies. In addition, he had been business representative in Marin County for the Musicians Union Local No. 6 of San Francisco for 17 years before retiring from that job last year. Eynon continued a locksmith-musical instrument repair business in Fairfax until his death. He had lived in Marin 25 years.

The family home is at 17 Madrone Court. Eynon is survived by his wife, Cecelia; a daughter, Mrs. Karil Andrews of Mill Valley; two sisters, Mrs. Muriel Kockisch of Terra Linda and Mrs. Louise Walker of Long Beach, and a brother, Eyrick Eynon of Sonoma.

Memorial service will be at 4:30 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of the Hills in San Anselmo. The family prefers memorial contributions to the Marin County Heart Association.
