A great great granddaughter of Marvel Green, and a Green lineage reseacher, refers to her as Ann Dicus. Perhaps her full name wa elizabeth Ann.

The name of Marvel's wife in the 1850 census is Ann M. Im 1960 it is Ella M. Ella M is Mary Ella Woods (or Wood, according to some osurces), according to a memorial for her son James Whitson Green on Find a Grave. Ann M probably somehow represents Elizabeth, unless Marvel had four wives. Marvel's FAG memorial says he is buried with Lucina, his third wife.

The 1860 census and other family information indicate that Elizabeth died in late 1853 or early 1854. Marvel married Ella Wood in May 1854, and Elizabeth's last child Martha was born in late 1853 to early 1854, according to her reproted age 6 in the 1860 census.
