In 1900 Nelson has married Margaret (spelled Margurette by the family) Cassandra Jenkins. They are in Chickasaw Nation of Indian Territory, with three children. From the birth of the oldest child here, we can estimate they married about 1886 In Texas.

Margaret's census reports are uncertain about where her father was born. Note that in 1880, while she is living with her parents, Joseph is reported born in South Carolina, which matches family history. The 1900 and 1910 censuses show both Margaret's parents both born in Mississippi, though Joseph was born in South Carolina.
In the 1920 census, it appears the enumerator just copied Nelson's information for Margaret. Also in 1910, she is called Catherine E. I don't know what the E might have represented. We know of no other name for Margaret (or Marguerette) Catherine Jenkins.
The T is not visible in Magaret's name, because of a faded spot that also blots out the top of the S in Sydney's middle initial. Compare the birth date reported here for Claude (Claudie) with the ages in 1910 and 1920, which would mean he was born in 1894 (if birthday was in October).
