A couple of genealogies give the name of Columbus Lafayette Lane's first wife as Mary Miller. Some do not distinguish her from Mollie Stroud Williams Lane, whom Columbus married after Mary Miller died. Mary is reported in at least one genealogy as the mother of all of Columbus' children, including the children of Mollie Stroud.
