- Some genealogies report Polly was born and died in Ireland. The death in Ireland is suspicious, though, since she and her husband James migrated to the US and all their children were born there (though some undocumented genealogies report that Meshack/Meshach was born in Ireland, with both earlier and later children born in the Carolinas).
