"Cathie, two of Rudolph Fischer's daughters by Kahchacha (Bertie and Helen) married two of Quanah Parker's sons (Len and Thomas). Everything that I was able to learn about Fischer I incorporated into my book 'The Captured.'"

Yet in the 1914 Comanche census, Len is reported by himself. Since Bertie is also a Comanche, it seems she should have been reported with him. The wife in the marriage record is Comanche. I have not found the Asewaynah (Fisher) family in 1914 to see hos Bertie is listed there.

The format has changed somewhat, and the family relationship is shown by the same family/household number 529, but now Bertie's household number is 529 1/2. Her brother Henry is now also listed in a separate household between his parents and Bertie, with the number 529 1/4.

In the 1917 Comanche census, Bertie is reported as the wife of a son of Quanah Parker, Len Ne hi o. They are living with her family group, with their two daughters. They have been married about 3 years. I'm puzzled about Bertie's earlier son Joe, who does not appear. Perhaps he died. And I have not found information about her husband, the father of Joe. From teh informatoin we have, Bertie and Len married some time after 30 June 1914. I have not found their marriage record.
