Notes

  • He commonly went by Lloyd/Loyd/Loid.  The correct spelling of themiddle name may be Loid.  His Social Security records spell the nameLoyd.  A directory listing with a matching birth date and the locationmatching other records give him the middle initial of W.  His obituarygives his full name as Loyd William.

It is spelled Loid in the 1930 census, and this is the spelling usedby a cousin, Beverly Mixon Hill, in correspondence with me on membersof the family.  But several official documents that seem to be forthis person spell it Lloyd.  In the obituary of his brother Elvin, hisname is spelled Lloyd.  Directory listings for a Lloyd W Jackson seemsto match this person.  This matches the Lloyd Jackson in Elk City inthe records of Linda Martin Hanks.
