The above discussions and the 1850 and 1860 census age place her birth in 1813, but the birth date on her gravestone in 1800.

1850 -- Nancy and her Husband Thomas Carder are in a household with her children. Thomas died some time between the 1850 and 1860 censuses. He is mentioned in the will of Lewis Terry in 1851, so it was after July 1851.
"Item 8th: I will and desire to my daughter Nancey Carder, wife of Thomas Carder free from control or management of her said husband and not subject to the payment of his debts, lot of land number ninety-one (91), district of the third section of said county to her during her natural life ...."

The place of birth for both of them in this genealogy is strange. Anderson is a city, but also the name of a county created out of Pendleton District. Anderson is in the present-day county of Anderson. Pendleton was never the name of a town, as far as I know.
This genealogy provides no documentation, but the details seem to indicate it is based on family knowledge of records. Note, however, that the birth date reported here is 1800, while her age in the censues makes her birth about 1813! As we probe details, reliability becomes lower. The death date reported for Nancy is incorrect, since she applied for widow's military pension in 1889. When her grave was found after a memorial was posted on Find a Grave in 2011 (accessed in 2015), we see these dates are on the grave.
The military pension request below from 1889 matches her also. But there is one clue that indicates it could be a different person. She filed in Georgia, but her husband Thomas Carder is reported to have served in the Tennessee Mounted Infantry, which seems less likely than our Nancy's husband, whose residence records rported in South Carolina and Georgia. In 1860, they were in Murray County, Georgia.
