    Fannie Howerton

    Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Howerton, 501 S 6th, were held at1:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, in the Brown Funeral Home Chapel withJohn Shannon officiating.

    She was born Oct. 3, 1882 in Texas.  She was married to W. L.Howerton, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1957.

    Survivors include one daughter, Vivian Lewis, of the home; one son,Fred Gooch, of Bakersfield, Calif, one step-son, Doke Gooch, Lavertyand one sister, Mrs. Lennie Spring of Armona, Calif.

    Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Brown FuneralHome.
