    Dawes Commission Index, 1896
    Case #67
    Emily Quaid
    Choctaw Tribe

The family was registered on an original Dawes Choctaw Card, but theirapplication was rejected in 1896, and this was confirmed at severalpoints in the process of developing the final rolls for the Nations. The rejection was likely based primarily on the fact that Emily's andthe chidlren's registration states that the Chcotaw Blood Quantumpercentage was unknown.

On the Dawes Choctaw card for Thomas and his children, the name of thesecond child is unreadable, with a middle initial N, age 15 in 1901.This birth order matches the Minnie Ann.  The age is a couple of yearsoff from the birth date reported on her grave, 14 Aug 1884.  Minniewas the only girl between Thomas D D and Lee.  Lee was registeredseparately on his own card.
