Notes
- In 1850, Silas and his sister are living with Parker family friends in Anderson County. Their father had been killed in a Comanche raid on Fort Parker in Limestone County, in which their brother and sister Cynthia Ann and John had been captured by the Comanches. Both the latter grew up as Comanches. Their mother survived, but the children were distributed to other families. Note also that some Duty children of Lucy Duty Parker's broader family are also in this household.

The Anglins are reported to have traveled to Texas with the Parkers. One of therir daughters was also captured by the Comanches.
"The Anglin family goes back to Adrin Anglin of Ablemarle co,Va. there is a book about the familly which said the Adrin family went to Illinois and traveled to Texas with the Parkers to Parker Fort. That fort is where a Parker daughter was kidnapped by the indians, she lived as an indian and her son was Quanah Parker."
