Laura died in about 1873. I have not found her death record. Abraham married again soon after.
From the information on the 1880 census, it appears he married Emma Louise Wozencraft about 1874, with her first child reported as 5 years old, or born about 1875. This is confirmed in Emma's 1900 census record, which reports that she and Huddleston have been married 26 years, thus born about 1874. He is enumerated in 1880 under his middle name Huddleston.
The oldest child Thomas is listed last, normally indicating the child of a previous wife. Thomas' age matches William of the 1870 census. He is known in later censuses variously as William T, Tom W, TW or William.
