A matching memorial on Find a Grave could be for Roy A Long, but the name on the gravestone is Roy C Long.  The grave has only the year of birth and death, which do match for Roy A Long.  The burial location is in Virginia, which could be for the same person.  Since Roy Long, who appears in the 1940 census record above, was involved with a race track in Maryland, he may have also working in Kentucky, a huge horse ranching and racing area, and perhaps Virginia as well.
