Some genealogies report that Angelique had a son named Pierre and died shortly after. The child Pierre born about 1715 is reported by some to have married Marie Vuadry Beaudry..
The following genealogy reports that Pierre was the son of the second wife Catherine Mallet (or Maillet). But this genealogy reports the child Peter (Pierre) born in Detroit, where we know from other historical references that the family migrated to, and passed on through Illinois and ultimately to Arkansas Post. Other sources report that Pierre born 1723 was born in Québec, but his father was Pierre born in 1886, husband of Catherine Maillet. He was the elder brother of Pierre born in 1691.
Angélique was buried at the Notre Dame Basilica in Montral, Québec, at the age of 24, three weeks after the birth of her son Pierre.
