    Lola Mae Childers Fisher, 80, of 109 Lamplighter Cove, died Monday,Feb. 7, 2005, at her residence.

    A native of Gaffney, she was the wife of Alfred Evoid Fisher anddaughter of the late Landrum Ezell Childers and the late InaPennington Childers. She was a member of Harvest Ministries and was aretired textile worker.

    Surviving in addition to her husband are four sons, Jack EdwardMcSwain, Earnest Paul McSwain, Thomas Rudolph Fortner and Larry DeanMcSwain, all of Hickory, N.C.; a stepson, Johnny Evoid Fisher ofFallston, N.C.; a sister, Thelma Hodge of Gaffney; six grandchildrenand seven great-grandchildren.

    In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fisher was preceded in death by twobrothers, Monroe Childers and Coleman Childers; and five sisters,Vinny Childers Seals, Nellie Huskey, Lois Childers, Lila Childers andMargie Phillips.

    Graveside services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at FrederickMemorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Joe Crawford.

    Pallbearers will be Edward Mayfield, Zanie Childers, Tim Childers,Marvin Childers, Johnny Fisher and Travis Childers.

    The family will receive friends tonight from 7-9 at Gordon Mortuary,Blacksburg, and at other times they will be at the home.
