In the 1850 census, Jams and Lucinda are living with his parents. This census reports James as 18 years old, which matches other reports of his age, with birth about 1832. But there is a 5-year-old child here, so I wonder if the enumerator made an error in the age. At 5 years old, this child would have been born about 1845. But at that time James would have only been 13 years old. I doubt he was married at that time. Even his older wife Lucinda would have been only 15 then. But at lest one genealogy reports she was born in 1826, not 1830 as reported here. Lucinda died about a year after this census.
