Notes

• Mary Pinot is reported as the wife of Pierre Dumond by Patrick Noonan in the Noonan-Howarth genealogy.  I found her and the children in the 1850 census, 2 years after the reported death of Pierre in 1848.  She is married to John Stokes, and they are living in Desha County, Arkansas, next door to Pierre's sister Virginia and her husband Isaac Love.  Not far away is Pierre's mother Felicity (Félicité) Dumond and Felicity's son Caliste.
