Members of the Green and Jackson families moved from near Gainesville, Texas, over the Red River border into Indian Territory.

I lose track of them in the 1870s to 1890s.  But we know they were farther north.  Though details are few, we know they were in the north central area of what became Oklahoma, from law enforcement records in Fort Smith, Arkansas.  Jacob and his brothers Daniel and Jack, as well as what appears to be Talitha's husband Abe Jackson, were in some scrapes with the law in Fort Smith, which managed the justice for Oklahoma and Indian Territory.

I have not found details of their residence during the 1860s to 1890s.  But in 1900 Abraham Jackson's widow Talitha (Telitha/Delitha) Green is in Marietta in southern Chickasaw Nation, not far from the Red River.  Likewise in 1900 I find Talitha's brother Jacob and his wife Susan with their children in Cherokee Nation.

In 1910, Jacob Green and his nephew, Abe and Talitha's son Sam, are in Nash Township of Muskogee County, in the west central area of Oklahoma.  In the 1870s, this was part of the Creek ation, just west of Cherokee Nation.  This was in the area administered by Judge Parker from Fort Smith.  As we saw above, Jacob and his family are listed in the Cherokee Nation census of 1900.  am Jackson and Stella Brewer are in the same township.

Note that John does not appear. Perhaps he died between 1900 and 1910.  Note also that the birth place of Jacob's mother has changed from Georgia to South Carolina.

Jacob died in 1917.  His wife Susan and sons Pink and Thomas were reported in the 1920 Muskogee City/County Directory.

Susan and hjer sons moved to California, to Kerman, in Fresno County.  To and Susan were registered to vote in the rolls of 1938.
