    Alexander died at an uncertain date after this census.  Some genealogies have tied this Alexander to an Alexander Hamilton Horton who was born and die din Wilkes County, North Carolina, and is buried there.  Our Alexander H Horton died in Attala County, Mississippi, where all the other above records were found for him.  No death record has been found for Margaret.
