- A genealogy tells us that Judith married Lovelace William Padgett In 1867. I have not found their marriage record. If this year is correct, it had to be the first few days of January, because their daughter was born in September 1867.

I have not found a record it eh 1870 census for Judith and WIlliam. But the 1880 census records them with one child in the household, ther daughter Lavinina J (for Judith?}, age 12, matching her reported birth date in September 1867.
