Notes
- Some discussion on genealogy discussion lists on this family indicate that no firm evidence has been found on the time of death of Charles S Gibson. It is presumed he died before his widow Sarah Morgan Gibson married Jorile Barnett.

Barnett, Jorial -- Gipson, Sarah 1/15/1857, Jefferson County, Illinois
Sarah's daughter Nancy Jane later married Jorile's son Francis M (Frank). They are recorded in the 1880 census for HIll County Texas, next door to Jorile (J R) and Sarah.
Another Barnet reseracher reports:
"I have not found out when Sarah died yet. She was a widow in the early 1890s and living in Nolan County, Texas."

One genealogy reports that Sarah died in Oklahoma (which was still Indian Territory at that time). No documentation or details are provided. Several of the Barnett family had moved to Indian Territory.
